Concepts of Educational Tech

As I advance through the ADL program, I am continually discovering new strategies and approaches that I intend to implement within my organization. Learning about the growth mindset has highlighted its significant impact, not only on my development as a student but also in my role as an educator. I am committed to teaching my students about the growth mindset and how it contributes to their success. Currently, we are engaging with the COVA learning approach through the continued development of our innovation plans and ePortfolios. This approach allows us to apply our knowledge through authentic learning experiences. I aim to create a learning environment where students have the opportunity for choice, ownership, and voice in their authentic learning experiences as well. Below, I have outlined a plan to further enhance and reflect upon my beliefs as an educator and my growth mindset.

This plan outlines my approach to adopting a growth mindset, which involves believing that skills and abilities can improve with effort and learning. By tackling challenges and viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth, I aim to continually improve my own practice and foster a growth mindset in my classroom. My goal is to create an environment where students also embrace these ideas, seeing their efforts and persistence as key to their success.

This learning manifesto outlines my commitment to ongoing growth and improvement as an educator. It highlights my dedication to embracing new ideas, fostering a growth mindset, and creating an engaging learning environment for my students.

In this blog post, I share how learning networks played a crucial role as I started my teaching career. I explore the overall value of joining these networks, including the support and resources they provide. Engaging with these communities can greatly enrich your teaching experience and contribute to your ongoing professional development.

In this blog post, I discuss the concept of "the power of yet" and how it ties into a growth mindset. By focusing on the idea that we can improve and succeed in the future, even if we haven’t yet, we can build resilience and embrace challenges more effectively.
