Digital Resources
This Digital Resources course has been an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of digital content creation and publication. I learned how articles are published, from developing ideas into well-structured pieces to understanding the steps of editing and refining content. It also gave me the chance to explore different media formats, ultimately leading me to create a podcast for my final project. A key aspect of the course was the peer review process, where I was able to collaborate with classmates by reviewing their work and having mine reviewed in return. This experience was invaluable in understanding the importance of feedback and how it shapes the publishing process. Overall, this class has not only enhanced my writing and editing skills but also broadened my understanding of digital media and content creation.

Publication Outline
I decided to write about Creating a Collaborative Environment through Blended Learning because, as a bilingual teacher, I’ve seen firsthand the power of collaboration in the classroom. Many of my students, especially those learning English, frequently learn from each other, not just through language, but in how they approach problems, share strategies, and offer diverse perspectives. Before starting to write my rough draft, I first began with writing an outline, you can read my full outline here.
Publication Rough Draft
For my publication rough draft, I wrote about "Creating a Collaborative Environment through Blended Learning." As part of the peer review process, my classmates and I created a rubric to help evaluate each other's drafts. We provided constructive feedback, focusing on areas like clarity, structure, and engagement. In addition to receiving peer feedback, I also researched publication guidelines to identify potential places where I could submit my article. This process not only helped me refine my writing but also gave me valuable insights into the publication process, from peer review to submission. Read my full rough draft here.

Media Project

For my media project, I decided to start a podcast to share my experiences in education and explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Through the podcast, I will be able to discuss topics that are meaningful to me as an educator, particularly around the concept of blended learning. As part of my innovation plan, I’m focusing on implementing blended learning in my classroom to enhance writing instruction. The podcast gives me a platform to reflect on how technology and collaborative strategies can transform the classroom and improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Listen to my podcast here.
Publication Final Draft
The final draft of my article, "Creating a Collaborative Environment through Blended Learning," builds on the ideas and feedback I received during the peer review process. After refining my rough draft, I focused on strengthening the structure and clarity of my argument, ensuring that the article clearly conveys the benefits of blended learning in fostering collaboration among students. As a bilingual educator, I wanted to highlight how blended learning can be particularly effective in supporting English language learners by encouraging peer interaction and problem-solving.
